The Performance Management Project refers to the assessment and balance of the existing Performance Management System in an organization so that to promote both performance improvement and the spherical development of people and their wellbeing.

Characteristics of a ‘balanced’ PM System are:

  • to include criteria of performance that refer a) to the inner state (e.g. stress, satisfaction, interest etc) b) to the way of thinking (e.g. logical analysis, critical thinking, assimilation and synthesis etc) and c) to human qualities (e.g. justice, humor, courage, self-respect etc)
  • to use tools, processes and approaches that reflect and support the dual focus on performance improvement and personal development & wellbeing
